ISRN Director Awarded Episteme Laureate Award

It is with great honor to share with all of you that on October 29, 2011, Kathleen R. Stevens, RN, EdD, FAAN, received the Episteme Laureate award from the honor society of nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International.  Dr. Stevens is the Principle Investigator of the Improvement Science Research Network. She is also the founding director of the Academic Center for Evidence-Based Practice at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio.  Dr. Stevens’ research investigates uptake of evidence-based practice, knowledge transformation and workforce preparation for quality and safety.
